Mountains Discovery
Desert discovery is pleased to offer the chance to experience Morocco to people of all ages. You will experience the nomadic lifestyle of a Berber family in the desert, an organised camel trek in the magnificent Erg Chebi sand dunes and then watch the shooting stars in the clear night sky. This is no modern 4x4 car journey around the country, this is the real thing.
A chance to dream under the stars and sleep under tents, to enjoy the desert nomad music style with drums. A chance to really relax amid breathtaking scenery in the vastness of the desert. For fans of trekking and adventure tours, Morocco has the beautiful Atlas mountains with their special summits, Saghru, Mgun, Toubkal, Oukaymden and others.
There are also fun packed holidays in Essawira and Agadir, both cities having fantastic long beaches.
...For fans of birds watching ,we organise special trips to special places , valleys for birds watching and filming .
In Ouarzazat, in the south east of Morocco are five of the most wonderful green valleys and the gorges of Dades and Mgun. Besides the huge valley of Draa, you will feel the calm and serenity of the place and the roses of Tinghir and Ayt Benhaddou. Definitely no modern world of noisy days and crowded streets, just the wonders of nature.
You are transported back in time to experience amazing Berber architecture, the ancient imperial cities of Marrakech, Fes, Essaouira, Agadir, Casablanca and Rabat. You will explore the medieval medinas, within the imperial cities. You’ll visit Roman ruins in Volubilis, tour around the solid and steady walls, the mosques dating back to ancient times. There are also the music festivals and museums of legend. These are known and celebrated in Morocco throughout the year, such as the Roses festival in Klaat Mguna, Ouarzazat every first week in May; the Gnawa music festival each 20th June; the sacred music festival in Fes, the Timitar festival music in Agadir each July... and the Imilchil legend festival .
For those who would like to immerse themselves in the Berber traditional ways, there are workshops of art, drumming, photography, geologic, medicinal plants, cooking in a Moroccan kitchen... in fact; there are workshops in each month of the year.
